Verse
Many little Christmas trees, standing neatly in a row.
Clipped and groomed with care each day,
All the imperfections go!
Planted in the richest soil and given only the best.
And never short of water,
With plenty of peaceful rest.
Growing in cooler sunshine, when the weather’s not too hot.
When harmful bugs should appear,
They’re dealt with right on the spot!
Truly such a blissful life for every young Christmas tree.
Waiting for the season now,
To finally be set free!
Pretty little Christmas trees, looking all the same.
No worry in the world,
Not a title or name.
Soon the farm gates open, and the world rushes in.
Will they pick him today?
Let measuring begin!

Chorus
Oh, pick me! Pick me! I'm ready to go!
I've grown up so perfect, from top down to toe!
All shiny and tidy, all standing in line,
Just waiting and wishing, this moment is mine!
Oh, pick me! Pick me! I'm ready to see,
The wonderful world that's awaiting for me!
With ribbons and glitter and bright lights that glow,
Oh, pick me! Pick me! I'm ready to go!

Verse
Perfect little Christmas trees, each picked one by one,
Leaving this life behind
To start and have some fun!
This little Christmas tree will soon see past the gates,
With big eyes full of hope,
He says goodbye to mates!
Finally, the day comes when he passes the test.
Examined carefully,
He stands out from the rest.
Jumping around with joy, the family proclaim,
“Let this tree be ours now,
To cherish and maintain.”
How special he feels when he is wanted and praised.
He thinks life will be good,
And hopes to be amazed.

His black pot gives him confidence to proudly stand.
It is snug and well formed,
Inside he has grown grand.
