The Way Through | The Original Harmony – Chapter 7 (Official Lyric Video)
Verse
Trusting in the wise old pine, he finally came to see,
The effortless radiance,
Of what it means to be free.
His branches glistened in the sun, a light show to behold.
Far brighter than the fireworks,
That had left his heart so cold
The birds, like vivid ornaments, sang sweetly all day long.
Their music filled the whole air,
A place where all songs belong.
The squirrels brought them laughter, which the whole family enjoys.
Plenty to appreciate,
Simple harmonious joys.
The artificial world of bright lights crashes in a heap.
Chasing after shallow thrills,
And had made harmony cheap.
Grateful now for simple things and nature’s balanced ways
Brought him peaceful surrender
Through all of his hardest days
Chorus
Now I know which world is true,
Under skies of brightest blue.
Roots can stretch and branches grow,
That’s the life I want to know.
Past the window, out I roam,
With some love, I’ll find my home.
Into sunlight, off I go,
Free to live and free to grow.
Verse
When he had done all that he could, he chose the honest way.
Hard times can still help us grow,
And bravely face each new day.
At last he yielded to his fate, within the old pine’s shade.
His heart was filled with deep peace,
And thanked the pine for his aid.
At the very last moment, his future was then revealed.
Much to the tree’s great surprise,
His fate had never been sealed.
A passerby had noticed that the tree still had his roots.
And could see what he might be,
With strong life in his new shoots.
She pointed to a paradise waiting across the road.
The little tree took the leap,
And followed the path she showed.
With fertile ground for roots and branches reaching for the sun
He could grow up tall and free
Like that very special one
Chorus
Now I know which world is true,
Under skies of brightest blue.
Roots can stretch and branches grow,
That’s the life I want to know.
Past the window, out I roam,
With some love, I’ll find my home.
Into sunlight, off I go,
Free to live and free to grow.
